3 Things You Must Do If Your Struggling With Hope

“Even a turkey can fly in a tornado!” Dave Ramsey quipped as he compared how America as a society has become sloppy by losing its political, economic and moral restraint.

Billed “The Town Hall for Hope,” Dave Ramsey, a syndicated financial talk-show host and Fox TV Business Show host, discussed his ideas on how to bring hope to America.

I attended the live-simulcast at a church in Tempe, Arizona. Which happens to be where I will host Dave Ramsey’s 13-week course called Financial Peace University.

Remember when you were in junior high, and the class nerd who always sat in front of class took pages of notes?  Well, that person would be me. But I like to think of myself as a cool nerd.

As the live show went on for over an hour, I feverishly took notes, so I could share for those who could not attend.

Bush Bailed Out Stupidity and Obama Is Stimulating It

Many of us are starting to realize that are ideas about life and money have been going through a “Stress Test.” The political banter is getting louder that only government has the ability to turn things around. But is this really the case?

Ramsey brought to light that in 1934 the FDR administration had two key points in how to pull the country out of the “Great Depression.”

  • Through government spending full employment can be maintained.
  • Deficit spending must be done in a slowing economy.

In 1944, nearly 99% of all Americans were employed. To this day, President FDR and John Maynard Keynes were labeled heroes.

However, most university professors forgot to tell students the main reason for such high productivity. The single day that forced us out of the Great Depression and to call out, “All Hands on Deck!” That day put women into factories and able-bodied men into uniforms… December 7, 1941. For those of you with a recent degree from Purdue University, that day is better known as “The Attack on Pearl Harbor.”

You Can Be Sincere And Still Be Stupid

Dave Ramsey stated to the millions of viewers that a source of America’s Hope is Capitalism… but not the way we have been recently practicing it.

“Businesses should serve customers,” Ramsey stated, “Not milk them like a cow. Profit is the applause that customers gives.” Capitalism as it has been practiced without political, economic or moral restraint is destroying America.”

Back To The Basics… Life Is Not Fair

Many believe that no one should ever have pain in their lives, but Dave Ramsey has other ideas:

  • “We need to allow Failure.” Why? Because if it is chasing you, it may run you toward excellence. Failure needs to be an option.
  • “We need to be set free by using the word NO.” No matter how low the interest rates are, I will not buy a house when I barely have a job; I won’t buy a flat screen television with student loan money; I can’t go vacationing in Ireland without having an adequate emergency fund, etc…
  • “We need to take personal responsibility and Cause things to happen.” I found a quote by Peter Drucker and put it up in my office. He stated, “The best way to predict the future is to create it.”

For Some People Prayer Is Simply Code For Not Facing Reality

Fear is the antithesis of hope. Fear is false evidence seeming real and the hysteria of many in the media is making things worse.

So what does this mean for you?

Warren Buffett, who has for a long-time been one of the top three richest persons in the world, he once said, “Try to be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.”

Have you been hearing lately that this is the time to buy real estate?

Why is that?

Your At K-Mart And The Blue Light Special Light Is On!

Dave Ramsey feels that real estate will lead us out of this economic mess. There are primarily four states in the U.S. that are dramatically affecting the banking and real estate industry, and Arizona is one of them, see these Phoenix Real Estate Comparable Sales.

However, Ramsey feels that:

  • This is the best time to buy a home because of the low interest rates on a 15-year fixed mortgages.
  • There is a pent-up demand of fear-waiting buyers and their ready to pop. I know because I’m working with a few of them right now.
  • When the President can fire CEO’s you know that the government really owns the banks and automobile industry, so you need to raise your own capital for projects and use local community banks.
  • Inflation will blow up like Mount St. Helen’s if spending by the government doesn’t slow down.

If you are looking for things to invest in and you recognize that the government is not going to slow-down spending, Dave Ramsey stated to buy things that are tied to inflation.

Find as many inflationary investment products and service opportunities that you can get your hands on. Research and analyze them for highest and best use and buy only best deals.

Dave Ramsey recommends Real Estate and Growth Stock Mutual Funds.

But what about gold?

During the Town Hall for Hope session he gave this analogy. “During Hurricane Katrina you didn’t see anybody carrying around bags of gold or paper cash because fresh water and a boat was more valuable.”

Gold’s meteoric rise of late is a symbol of fear. If there’s ever a complete economic collapse, it’s best that you know how grow corn and catch fish like Wampanoag Indians then gain huge bicep muscles to carry around solid gold bars.

Dave Ramsey’s 3 Things You Must Do If Your Struggling With Hope

  1. Get up and take massive action. Get moving. Inject yourself in the problem to find a solution. No watching Oprah re-runs. Your best chance at success is you. Activity is your answer. You need to Happen To things.
  2. Don’t participate in loser talk. Your income will be around 10% of the average compensation of your friends and those who you hang out with. Read the book “Who Move My Cheese,” because your cheese has been moved.
  3. Give again. The American public are the most giving people in the world. If you have no money right now, give of your time. Get your worrying mind off you and assist other people and causes.

No need to go to Tea Parties, we can take over this country; if we Give the government out of business.

Exceeding Expectations,
